Best for

Busy households who want a consistently clean home without lifting a finger.

What recurring cleaning costs

Recurring house cleaning starts at $120 per visit, and the exact flat rate depends on your home's size, number of bathrooms, condition, and how often we visit. Every quote is flat and in writing — no fuel fees, no surprise upcharges, and no contract minimums. A maintained home takes less time than catch-up cleaning, so your recurring per-visit price is lower than a one-time clean. Tell us about your home and we'll send an exact written quote within 1 business day.

Frequently asked questions

How often should I schedule recurring house cleaning?+

Most of our clients book bi-weekly, which keeps the home consistently fresh without overpaying. Weekly is great for busy families with kids or pets; monthly works well for tidy single-occupant homes.

Who will be cleaning my home?+

Crystal Broom is licensed, bonded, and insured, and we keep detailed notes on your home's preferences so every visit is consistent.

Do I need to be home during the cleaning?+

No. Most clients give us a code, key, or garage entry. Crystal Broom is licensed, bonded, and insured.

What's the difference between recurring and deep cleaning?+

Recurring cleaning maintains a home that's already been deep cleaned. We recommend a one-time deep clean for first-time clients to bring everything to baseline, then recurring visits keep it that way.

Can I pause or skip visits when I travel?+

Yes. Just let us know and we'll pause your schedule with no cancellation fee, then pick right back up when you're home.

Am I locked into a contract?+

No — there's no contract and no minimum. You can adjust frequency, reschedule, or stop anytime. Most clients stay because they want to, not because they have to.

Do you bring your own supplies and equipment?+

Yes — we bring everything, including HEPA-filtered vacuums and pet- and kid-safe products by default. Prefer we use your own products? Just leave them out and we'll use those instead.

Recurring cleaning, explained

Why a recurring cleaning routine actually saves you time and money

A recurring residential cleaning service isn't just a luxury — it's the single highest-leverage chore decision most western suburb households make. Here's how we think about it, what's actually included on a maintenance visit, and how to pick the right frequency for your home.

Weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly: how to choose

The right frequency depends on three factors: how many people (and pets) live in your home, how much foot traffic the main living areas see, and how quickly dust and grime build up on your specific finishes. Hardwood floors in a five-bedroom Naperville colonial show dust within three or four days; tile in a smaller Hinsdale ranch can comfortably stretch to two or three weeks. We help you choose during the walkthrough so you're not overpaying for visits you don't need.

Weekly works well for families with young children, indoor pets, frequent guests, or anyone with allergies. Bi-weekly is the most popular choice across Clarendon Hills, Burr Ridge, and Downers Grove — it keeps the home consistently presentable on a lighter cadence. Monthly is ideal for tidy single-occupant homes, vacation properties, and clients who do daily upkeep themselves but want a deeper reset once a month.

What 'consistently clean' actually means

After your first deep clean brings the home to baseline, recurring visits maintain that baseline. We rotate the focus on each visit — one week we'll spend extra time on baseboards and door frames, the next we'll detail the inside of the microwave or polish stainless appliances. Your home never has the same buildup twice, because we never let it get there in the first place.

We also keep a private notes file for every home — your preferred products, the cabinet that sticks, the orchid that doesn't like to be misted, the side gate that has to be latched a certain way for the dog. New cleaners on your account read those notes before they arrive, which is why our recurring clients almost never have to repeat themselves.

Who's behind every visit

Crystal Broom is small, local, and independent — not a franchise, not a gig app, and we never subcontract. Crystal Broom is licensed, bonded, and insured, with full general liability coverage and a bond that covers everyone who performs a cleaning. Every home has a written checklist and profile kept on file, so results stay consistent visit after visit. Deep cleans, move-in/move-out visits, and larger homes are scheduled with more time on site, because those jobs genuinely take longer. We bring all supplies, equipment, and HEPA-filtered vacuums by default — including pet-safe and fragrance-free options on request.

Built around the western suburbs

Crystal Broom lives and works across DuPage and Will County. We know the school calendars, the Metra schedules, the HOA quiet hours, and the difference between a Hinsdale historic home with original plaster and a new build in Plainfield. That local fluency means we show up prepared — not surprised by your floor finish, your alarm panel, or the four-stage water softener in the basement.
