How Often Should Someone With Limited Mobility Schedule Professional Cleaning?
This is something I get asked more than people might expect — and I love that people ask, because it tells me they're thinking practically, not just hoping for the best.

Here's what I've seen in homes across Hinsdale, Westmont, and Downers Grove: the right frequency really depends on your situation.
If you live alone and have limited mobility, a bi-weekly clean usually keeps things from building up to a point that feels overwhelming. If you have kids or pets at home — and a lot of our clients do — weekly can make a real difference, especially in kitchens and bathrooms where messes compound fast.
For someone managing a chronic illness or recovering from surgery, I'd honestly suggest starting with a deep clean first, then moving into a regular recurring schedule. That way we're not playing catch-up every visit — we're just maintaining a home that already feels good.
What I've noticed is that people wait longer than they should because they feel like they should be able to handle it themselves. I get that feeling. But there's no award for doing it all alone, and there's real peace of mind in knowing it's handled on a schedule you don't have to think about.
Every recurring clean comes with a checklist — bathrooms, kitchen, bedrooms, living areas — so you always know exactly what was done. No guessing.
